On Thursday, November 9th, we had the privilege of giving a talk at the Institut le Rosey in Rolle.
Our CTO and Co-Founder, Bardiya Valizadeh, took center stage, addressing a dynamic group of students in an enlightening session that marked a significant first step into the world of entrepreneurship.
Bardiya shared insights into the journey of DePoly, shedding light on the entrepreneurial spirit that has been the driving force behind our success. The session covered a range of facets that define the entrepreneurial experience—the highs, the lows, the risks, and the triumphs that accompany determination to success.
Emphasizing the crucial attitude of persistence, Bardiya conveyed the message that success may require multiple attempts, but each effort contributes to the learning process. It's not about giving up on the first try, but rather maintaining faith in oneself and persevering.
The engagement from the students was heartening, as they actively participated in discussions about entrepreneurship, sustainability, and the future of recycling. Their enthusiasm and thoughtful questions showcased a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead.
In the spirit of fostering positive change, the students' eagerness reaffirms our belief in the transformative power of the next generation. Witnessing their dedication in shaping a more sustainable future is not only inspiring but also a testament to the impact that education and shared values can have on collective action. Ultimately, it’s together that we can shape a more sustainable future.
DePoly’s technology recycles unsorted, dirty PET waste into virgin-grade raw materials. Those PET precursors, PTA and MEG, are used by the industry to produce new plastics without the need for fossil fuels, while diverting valuable materials from landfills and incineration.
